Celebration: Istanbul, Turkey

Babyheart Healing: A Perfusionist Abroad

Well I had a 13 hour layover in Istanbul and had a wonderful stay at at The Renaissance Polat Hotel. The air was crisp and filled with celebration. There were 15 wedding wreaths lined up outside the hotel as the receptions were rocking inside. It was so electric being around so many wedding parties. The lobby was totally “Christmas-fied” which added to the excitement.

Now on to Basra, Iraq to start operating on children in desperate need of heart surgery. Cannot wait to pump strong. Next update will be from the newest city in Iraq to undertake a pediatric congenital heart surgery program. Big Big Big things happening, and I am so humbled to be apart of them.
