On a Fantastic (Italian) Voyage!

Finally returning to Istanbul had to be one of the best feelings in the entire world! I believe this is one of the only places that I have been where I have been absolutely ecstatic to get off the plane. It was also kind of exciting to be experiencing Istanbul from a tourist’s point of view as well as experiencing the nightlife (something I couldn’t do last time).

The amount of sightseeing we experienced within the amount of time we stayed was absolutely insane… and four days was not nearly enough to get even close to doing and seeing everything we wanted. But there is nothing more phenomenal than arriving, stepping out of the taxi, and seeing the Blue Mosque illuminated… and knowing that you are staying about a five minute walk from such a phenomenal sight.
